Auslogics Software, via its aptly named Auslogics Anti-Malware, offers Windows users all around the world an efficient means of keeping malware at bay. Auslogics Anti-Malware can scan a Windows-powered PC and uncover all sorts of malicious items: malicious programs, activity tracking cookies, suspicious Registry entries, harmful browser extensions, and so on.

Auslogics Anti-Malware provides support for multiple Windows editions. And more to the point, it supports any edition from Windows XP all the way up to Windows 10. A setup wizard will help you install Auslogics Anti-Malware on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. The steps this setup wizard takes you through are presented in the Quick Look video that accompanies this article.

Auslogics Anti-Malware has a dark-themed interface. There’s a panel on the left hand side that features the following five buttons:
Overview – see how many threats were found, run a new scan, remove found threats, activate the full version.
Scan – perform a Quick, Deep or Custom Scan; review the scan results.
History – go over a list of quarantined items, go over a list of items that will be ignored during scans.
Action Center – install an ad blocker, a disk defragmenter, a driver updater, and more.
Settings – play with multiple settings that govern how Auslogics Anti-Malware works.

When Auslogics Anti-Malware scans your PC, it covers the following: system memory, internet cookies, system registry, task scheduler, file system/folders. There are three types of scans to choose from: Quick Scan, which scans the most common areas where threats may be found, Deep Scan, which scans the entire system for threats, and Custom Scan, which scans the areas you select. A scan can be launched manually or it can be scheduled to run automatically. From the Setting menu you can set it so Auslogics Anti-Malware scans your PC every day at 6PM for example.

Auslogics Anti-Malware is not free, it is only free to try. The trial version will scan your PC and will find malware threats – but it will not remove them.

Scan your PC, find malware threats, and efficiently remove them. Get Auslogics Anti-Malware and you will be able to do just that.

Pros

It’s very easy to install Auslogics Anti-Malware on a Windows PC. Auslogics Anti-Malware has a dark-themed interface that is easy to navigate. Several types of scans are available. Manually initiate a scan or schedule a scan to run automatically. Auslogics Anti-Malware finds and removes various types of malicious items.

Cons

Trial limitations: the trial version does not remove the malware threats it uncovers.
